Nikon FE2 - Test Shots

I just recently received a nikon fe2 black which I have won from bidding on ebay. I regret it because it cost me about $180 for this camera which I think was pretty expensive. Eagerly I opened the package and loaded a film right away to check if theres any problem which luckily it does not have. Here are some photos taken with this camera.

Time: afternoon
Lens: Pentax smc FAJ 18-35mm zoom lens

This are some photos taken with my pentax smc faj 18-35mm which I have bought a month ago. From my point of view it is a decent lens but I got problems with focusing since im only using a pentax mz10 camera. Here are some photos taken with this camera:

Sad thing is that I have already sold the lens/camera because I prefferred a nikon and xa in doing street photography.

Here are some more photos

E-series lens - 50mm f1.8 Photos

I have this 50mm e-series lens which was bought together with my nikon fe. It has a maximum apperture of f1.8 to f22, its an f-mount lens also a full manual no non-sense lens. Here are some photos taken with my D40 mounted with the said lens.

Things I noticed when using this lens are:
- fully manual
- no light metering since its an old e-series lens
- very good at bokeh
- sharp when using f4 and above
- very good on low light conditions

It may take some time getting used to this kind of manual lens but I can guarantee that great reward awaits you if you got to know using this lens.

Olympus Pen (1959) Half Frame Slr - Test Shots

Finally I was able to developed and scanned all of my photos taken with this camera.
Images were pretty decent and sharp for this kind of camera although my only gripe was that exposure compensation have to be performed meticulously or you will get over/under exposed images.

Here are some images taken with this camera, there is some developing problems which is evident on the photos...(I still have to work on my process).

MZ10 with my new Pentax Ultra Wide Lens

I just recently aquired a pentax smc ultra wide lens 18-35mm fa which gives a full frame shot on my film mz10 camera. I just only taken a couple of shots with this lens but more will come, im still not convinced about the image quality of this lens only after I scanned the photos can I judge the lens.
One thing I really liked about this lens is that it can auto focus a very important feature on street photography. Focusing is pretty fast with my camera and got no problem on dark situation although sometimes it do hunts for focus. Here are some images taken with this lens and the lens photo as well.

Here are my 11th attempt at Street Photography...

Camera: Olympus XA
Film: Kentmere iso400
Time: Early morning Saturday, 2011 - Snow
Developer: T-max

After 2 months of waiting on the shelves my film taken with my XA finally got to be processed. I am pretty much satisfied with the results of my developing process, took only 7mins for the developer with a little bit more of water.

The results are not so dense film and my scanner have no problems getting those images on my hard drive. Here are some of the images taken with this camera.

Photo Adjustment

Recently I was very busy and haven't touch my camera for weeks, I came back again to my recent photos to take a good look. There are lot of things I noticed from photos previously taken such as insane grains due to developing and tonality of colors that need to be adjusted with photoshop to bring out true colors.

Here are some pictures that was edited again and the older ones for comparison.
